Member Development Funds (MDF)
TLOTL Members may apply for MDF to help cover some of the costs of AQs or ABQs
Members may apply for MDF during the fiscal year (July 1 to June 30) in which the learning was completed. Members may access the fund once per fiscal year.
There is a maximum total of $400 per member per fiscal year.
- AQ/ABQ – Any AQ or ABQ (NOTE: a senior AQ/ABQ is only eligible if it is for your QECO placement)
- Receipts and supporting documents must be provided to substantiate this information.
- Funding will be provided on a first come basis for as long as the funds remain available.
- Applications must be received by the June deadline listed on the application form.

prior to fulfilling the work requirements and the course ***
You MUST work 30 assignments (or days), in the 2026-2027 year to be eligible
Once you have worked the required assignments, AND completed the AQ or ABQ Submit:
- Proof of work – screen shot of workboard, pay stubs, etc.
- Proof of completion between July 1 2026 and June 30 2027
- Funding is on a first come basis
*** NOTE: If your AQ or ABQ ends late June 2027, please apply prior to the deadline of June 25, 2027
Applications received after the deadline WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
If you leave the Local – leave the Board, move to 1.0 permanent prior to completing the 30 assignments, you WILL NOT be reimbursed.
TLOTL also offers members attending workshops and General Meetings in person, the opportunity for dependent care reimbursement.
